Milan, thanks for sharing the video of the Shattertones.

I remember meeting Tim at the corner of Clinton and Locust sts and he would walk me part way home.  We never dated just friends.  He probably doesn't even remember this.  I loved going to the Consistory to the dances.  Anyone who knows me knew how much I loved to dance.  Anyway thanks again Milan for sharing.

Unsure if it is truth or legend, but my sister Amy swears she gave Tim his name. She always called him Timothy P and it stuck, or at least thats her story and she is stickin to it.

Hmmm: Turning the scale back?  How about 10 lbs. heavier to disincline the thought of overeating?

Have a wonderful holiday!

Love ya, Linda

Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving!

Since I was alone this time, I invited 4 older women who didn't have anyone to share T-day.  I decided to make a Thanksgiving that they wouldn't forget!  They are 80, 79, 77, and 76.

We had dinner (they were finished in 20 minutes).  So I gave us each 3 pairs of gloves and 3 pairs of socks.   We tried to figure out how to play STRIP POKER!  They asked if people really did this kind of game.  But were seemingly having fun giggling while betting socks and gloves.

Then I brought out dessert and plopped them down for a DIRTY movie!  It was 50 Shades of Grey!  You wouldn't believe the squeals and questions!   They loved it!  Next Saturday I will be taking them to Target to get their own DVD!

I tried to give them an unforgettable day, then realized, they might forget it tomorrow!  Oh well..........I tried!

Linda

Linda, that was a great post.

I'm betting that the girls had a great time and I'm happy for you and for them. Of course, we will all age. Our old bodies are only meant to last for so long. Thank goodness our spirit stays with us. Eventually the old rooster is chased out of the hen house, but he's still a rooster! Don't know about hens.....I'll let you contemplate that.

Happy Holidays. May your every wish come true! Sing like no one else can hear. Dance like no one is watching. Always keep a smile on your face! ( It makes people wonder what you're up to!)
