Carol Trenary (Logsdon)

Carol Logsdon, 78, of Bloomington, passed away at 10:24 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

 

Her graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington will be assisting the family with arrangements.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Agent Orange Victims & Widows Support Network, Inc.

 

Carol was born on December 16, 1945 in Bloomington, a daughter to Leslie C. and Ella A. (Knuth) Trenary. She married James A. “Jim” Logsdon, Sr. on July 19, 1974 in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on May 21, 2015. Also preceding her in death were her parents and grandson, Bryson Eimer.

 

She is survived by her children, Brenda (Kent) Nichols, Joyce (Jamie) Eimer, Bridget Logsdon-Isted, James (Jackie) Logsdon, Jr., Jeffrey (Debbie) Zimmerman, and Dalton Arbuckle; grandchildren, Taylor Nichols, Logan Nichols, Zachary Eimer, Jessica Arbuckle, Jennifer Arbuckle, James Logsdon III, William Harsch, and Cole Harsch; and great-grandson, C.J. Betton.

 

Carol worked as an account manager for many dedicated years at Crescent Electric Supply Company and Kirby Risk Electrical Supply. She was an avid supporter of veteran’s rights and was actively involved with veteran’s programs in the Bloomington-Normal area. She was a board member of the Fifty American Flags Living Memorial and was a firm supporter of the Agent Orange Victims and Widows Support Network, having lost her husband, Jim, to the chemical from his exposure in Vietnam.

 

Carol had a huge heart and gave so much to everyone around her. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
