Mel, yes we will be there.  I hope my granddaughter will be the waitress.

We leave for Calif. Sunday so I hope we don't go through any bad weather.

Thanks Helen.  My sister who is 85 is not real strong, she has a lot of health problems.  I felt that I should get out to see her.  We are going to be gone over a month.

Suzi, me too! Hope you have a great time in Calif. Your granddaughter was an added treat.

For those who couldn't join us for the mini-reunion, I'll post some photos in a day or two. About 30 people were there, but all of you were with us in spirit. Just saying...it was a beautiful and heartfelt gathering.

Vic, I do plan on being at that B-N picnic on Sept. 15. Hope to see you there.

I got some pictures from a couple of different sources after the party at Gill's the other day.               Here, Max and Terri question whether The Fed should relax interest rates.

Jack, thanks for posting the pics. It appears that time has been more generous to some than others. I'll take this opportunity to wish all members of  BHS '64, well. I'm fortunate to have been a small part  of such a great class.

Mike, anybody who gave me a ride home in a Jeep-like vehicle 51 years ago played no small role in my HS.  Otherwise, I don't give a @#&* who was who 50 years ago, but am glad that most of my friends then are still my friends now.  I'm with Norton, who 3 years ago asked "what about now?".

Linda Bristow (Elias)

Hi everyone and thanks for the photos!

I am thrilled to see everyone alive!   It sure beats the alternative!

A few years back, a good friend of mine mentioned that she doesn't live in the past.  I have thought about her expression often.

My interpretation is this:   We are a sum total of our past and present while looking to our future.  It becomes a well-rounding of our memories to enjoy our experiences in life.   Our memories can also precondition our reactions and abilities in our future.   In short.......we're all just dealing with LIFE.

Blessing to y'all!

Linda

The last batch of photos. (My son Phil generously drove me to Bloomingon because my car was disabled. These are his photographs, so I apologize for being in too many of them.) Milan, your powers of recall and face recognition are most impressive.

Great pics, Mel. Looks like the a lot of the stud guys have contacted that " Done Lap" disease? Thank goodness the girls still all look great. I'm trying to guess what it must have been like, being in the company of 67 year old teenagers. I suppose if you slam enough Miller Lite, it has the same effect as falling into the fountain of youth? Seems to work for me.  "GO YOU RAIDERS!"

thanks for all the pics guys - wish I'd been there!

Terry (Max) Maxwell

This test is for Annie...

This is comic sans ms,Arial... 14 pt.  It is what I always use on this site... until you so rudely yelled at me.  Contrary to your thinking it does not show up as Fu-Fu (or Phoo-Phoo) type on my screen.  Maybe just on yours... or everyone elses but mine!  I'll change type just because of the hurtful comments made by you and Mel.

This is Veranda... also 14 pt.  Now it is bold... but not Gothic Bold, because that is not a choice here.  How does it look?

Lucinda Sans Unicode... 14 pt.  Does that work for you and Mel?  Bold and Italic any better?

New Times Roman... 14 pt.  How boring!

Please advise, Max

Gerald (Jerry) Plummer

Yes, let me echo thanks for the pictures.  It seems everyone was having a great time.  Sorry Kathy and I couldn't attend but we'll get to B-town (as she puts it) some day.

Melvin (Mel) Theobald

Max, there must be some misunderstanding...I never had a problem with your typographic skills. Really, is Phoo-Phoo a font? In a previous post I told Annie, "I'm with you on that." Meaning the urge to get the word out about the mini-reunion. Now that Marv is giving you 110% commission on all our business, I'd be a darned fool to criticize you!!! LOL

Jerry, hope you got those doors in so you can join us next time. Fact is, we had a great time and wished you and all the others could have been there. In a way you were, cause you and others were very much part of the conversation...in a very good way!!!
