Keeping my promise to Joan Pease today. These are the pages from the 1961 BJHS Yearbook. With the fabulous help of Pam Zweng, Judy Neal and Marv, we have identified as many names as we could. There are probably a few errors among them and the last page contains photos we could not ID. So please let me know if you find any errors or know missing names and I'll fix them. Enjoy!!!

Thanks Mel for posting all those home room pictures.  I really enjoyed them.  I think I can identify two girls for you.  In Mrs. Lehr's home room in the 3rd row between Vicki Keller and Sherry Shickle, I believe that is Maxine Ewert.  In Mrs. Davis' home room in the 2nd row next to Ray Bledsoe is Dianne Powell.  Also in Mr. Curtis' home room In the bottom row, I think that is Donald Brown and not Darral Beer, but not positive.  Hope this is helpful.

Dennis, you are absolute right. All of us who worked on this were flooded with those memories. And, Sue, thank you, that gives us two more. I've put a "?" with both Beer and Don Brown. Let's see what others come up with. I'll repost with corrections once we've heard from others. Out of 402 photos, we've ID'd 361 with 8 maybe and only 35 unknown. Would love to have everyone's help on this.

Mel, I have one more thought about the 9th grade home room pictures.  I keep studying the picture of the girl in Miss Donahue's room between Joy and Ann, and I think it might be Sue Jaske and not Madelon Henderson; however, I certainly could be wrong.

Wow, you guys did a lot of work on identifying these 14-year old faces from 55 years ago. I can fill some gaps for you in my home room, whick was 9-201 (Mrs. Durflinger). Thanks for undertaking the project.

Great memories, however they have me as Jim Fleener? I am the guy below Larry Carlson and between Paul Murphy and Fred Clemons in Mrs. Schotts class room 214. Now you have me wanting to dig thru my old books. I know I have the 7th and 8th grade books for Irving School and I have some pics from grade school days at Raymond School. On the page of missings, I found a few faces I could identify aside from the ones from homeroom 9-201, so here goes:

row 1 face 6: Floyd Butcher

row 2 face 3 -- Don Tynan; face 7 quite possibly Wayne Martin; face 8 probably Darrell Arndell

row 3 face 1 -- Mark Finfrock; face 3 Mark Thiel; face 6 Sue Peterson (?); 

row 4 face 1 -- Darell Arnold

row 5 face 5 -- possibly Diane Griffin?; face 6 definitely Linda Thorpe

Hopefully someonoe who knows these faces better can correct any if they need it. I'm sure some of them will.

Thanks again to you guys -- especially Joan -- who started this ball rolling, and to the "committee" for their excellent work on the 300+ names from half a century ago. This is awesome.

Boo, they're both awsome, just like their grandma. We're so lucky. My only grandchild got her Minnie Mouse robe for Christmas, but most of all loved the hairbrush so she could do her own hair. Yep, we're very lucky.
