Jack, I agree. She and I talked through emails several times. I think she will be pleased. Keep it coming folks. Friends are being made all over.

This is a great website and gives everyone a chance that wants to participate to keep in touch with old friends and create new ones.  I am hoping more classmates get involved and it looks like more are.

Milan, I just looked on the 63 website for the pony pictures and I couldn't find them.  Can you tell me where to look?  Thanks.

Look under Raider Ramblins. Click on General Discussion. There are quite a few topics within that site. Look for "pony profile" and there it is. Just to warn you, you may want to stay away from the topic "Politics". It gets rough in there and they take no prisoners. (laugh)

We keep politics off of the Message Forum. :)

Okay, saw them.  Great.  Is there a way I can log into their website and post messages or not?  When I clicked on Mike Salch, wouldn't let me in.

Cheryl, I added you as a guest. Go into the site, scroll down the Classmate Profiles and find your name. Click on it and fill in your profile just as you did in here. Then you are a guest member.

Milan, I just wanted to say "hello" as this is a voice from your past.  I am going to have to get on this site more often just to see what you all have been up to.  I am going to come to one of the next get togethers soon. Dianne (Shaffer) Troxel

Dianne, it's great to see you in here. Dianne and I were neighbors many years ago.

Dianne, how good to see you on the Message Forum.  Update us on what you've been doing over the years.  It's been a long time!

Breakfast on Wed. at Shannon's was great fun.l...all of you who live in or near town need to make it to breakfast soon.  We are hopeful that this will become a regular outing for our class and that we can make some plans for an evening mini-reunion soon. For those of you who are reading this on the message forum, please post a response and let's see who we hear from so we know who is reading these posts and help those who aren't sure how to post do so! It is really heartwarming to know that we are all in touch, no matter where we live.

On another note, I read today that Harvey (Dave) Wellman's mother passed away in Colorado. The pantagraph said she lived near Dave and had lived in Bl. up until 2005. Deepest condolences Dave.

I have been visiting children and grandchildren in Seattle and Eugene the last few weeks and have not kept up with what's happening with all of you!  It's great to hear from you Judy!  And Annie B, let me know when in August and I will do my best to be there!!  I'm in California until late May, then home to Colorado for the summer, so a trip to Bloomington would be a nice break.

Jack and Milan, you guys are great.  I find myself remembering things I didn't even know I'd forgotten.  This is really fun!

I have enjoyed reading all the responses.  Didn't really know about this until a few weeks ago.

I attended the breakfast at Christmas when we were home and really enjoyed it and my husband being a member of class of '63 I'm sure we will attend more when we get back in April.  Looking forward to it.

Glad to hear Sue E is doing better.  Wish here well.

And by the way Cheryl,  do keep me informed on what is going on.  See ya soon.

If it was hardware, Miller's basement had it. If it was accessories, Ensenberger's basement had it.

Jr. year girlfriend Nancy Robinson worked at The Coachman as a waitress, and if memory serves me correctly, once served Jack Benny in the coffee shop.  It was also from there that she earned enough proceeds to buy me a German Shepherd puppy, in the summer of '63. :)  In much later years, when I traveled through Bloomington, I noticed the place had become a real dump.

Annie... I am on this site almost every day to see what everyone is up to.  I usually don't make comments.  It is just great to see what everyone has going on in their lives.  Would like to get down to B'ton for a Wednesday morning breakfast at Shannon's, but the 4 hour drive each way seems a bit much for an egg sandwich.  Maybe one of these days I'll plan a trip down for some other reason and have breakfast with those who attend regularly.  Everyone keep up the good work!  There is so much more activity than when I first discovered the Message Forum way back.

Helen, thank you for letting us know about Rita's daughter.

Rita just heard about your daughter.  You and your family are in all our hearts and prayers to get through this sad time.

Something to look at and be prould of. Page one of the Message Forum had 19 messages and went from 9/29/09 to 11/23/10. Now we have had 550 messages in 2 1/2 months. Not to mention how many people have joined the site. Nice job, Class of 1964!!!!!!!!!!!

Besides Jack Habich, I want to thank Marvin for all of the work he did in setting the site up. Without all of his work, there would be no site. There are tons of hours setting up a site like this.

I lived two blocks north of the Coachman Motel on Monroe Street.  The restaurant used to be wonderful.  Once in a while on Sundays, we would go there for breakfast.  It was very nice when it was first built.

This website has turned into the coolest thing.  I try to look everyday and see all the comments and new people that have joined in.

So sad about Rita Duncan's daughter.  My heart goes out to the family.

Last Wednesday was the first time I had attended the breakfast at Shannon's and had a great time and can't wait to go next week!

Wonder what Judy thinks I need to keep her up-to-date on?  LOL

It's true, The Coachman did turn into a dump years later.

Hello Everyone:   Just saying hello from South Carolina!  I know those of you up NOrth have had a terrible winter so I won't complain!  BUT, we are so thrilled Spring is about here as we had two snows here!

Sure enjoyed the last "big" reunion and hope to get back up to Bloomington over the summer.  Will let you all know when that happens.

My brother Ray still lives there as does his daughter. We always enjoy visiting them as well as old friends.

Just celebrated my 65th !  Anyone else get down about it???????  I did but not for long!

I love that we have this Forum.   Facebook is just too much sometimes!

It was at Miller's Hardware that they had that poor monkey.  Everyone tormented the poor thing.  It must have been 100 yrs. old.

This summer should be fun with so many people interested in getting together.  Hope it all works out.
