Clayton, I got the box.  Thank you.  The photos I'm putting up are yours,  already downloaded off your CDs . There are enough for a whole new slide show.

I'm seeing people that I did not even know were there for 2009.

Also, most of the photos from the 94 reunion are yours.  Again, thank you.

I just had a depressing reality check.  I guess I don't visit this site enough.  I viewed the IN MEMORY page, and wow I didn't realize so many of out classmates have left us.  Thanks to whoever is responsible for keeping this website up to date.  Maybe some day it will work out that I can arrange to come to a class get together.

Seems like Jack has really taken over the job of administrator for this website and kudos to him!  It is now very interesting and something I try to look at every day.  It was time for a fresh objective.

Milan has also done an outstanding job helping.  Thank you.

Judith (Judy) McLean (Wilder)

I just found this site and have been reading all the responses.  It's been very interesting. I hope more people will start using it.

Someone asked if Phil Lovell married Judy Shoup.  I grew up on East Front Street and the Shoups moved in across the street from us. Roger and Judy were good friends of Phil Lovell's but Judy did not marry Phil. However, Judy's brother Terry married Phil's sister Holly.  Judy is married to a guy names Mike and was living in Naples, FL last I knew.

I want to update everyone on Sue Watson Ehrmantraut.  My info is a little out of date as I haven't talked to Mike for over a week.  Sue has had a little set back.  She developed Pneumonia and was taken from Lincoln to Springfield Memorial a couple weeks ago.  We haven't been to see her for a couple weeks as my husband as been fighting a bad cold so didn't want to expose Sue to that. Mike hasn't let me know anything different so I'm assuming that she is still in Springfield.  Just keep your prayers coming as she has a ways to go to get back to her old self!  I was able to visit her every couple of days when she was in Peoria but not able to get to Lincoln and Springfield as often (between weather and work) so I'm really missing her!!!!!

It been fun reading what everyone has to say and remembering the Y-Teen dances and the Green Mill.  I too spent alot of time at State Farm Park thanks to my aunt and uncle until my big brother got a job at State Farm and then we had our own pass when I was in High School.

Holly, glad to see your picture and hear from you again.  Seems like it's been a long time since I've talked with you.  It's also good to catch up with Helen, Suzi, Cheryl, Ann and all of you guys.

Let's pray March is a better month than February has been.  NO MORE SNOW PLEASE!!!!

Ann - I'd like to see a mini reunion toward the end of August since it's nice to get out of Texas during the heat.

Ann, thank you for taking the initiative to organize a mini class reunion in August.  We'd love to attend, however have another trip planned in October so probably will not return from Colorado prior for that also since gas prices are beginning to climb. I'm certain everyone that is able to attend will have a wonderful time!

This site is succeeding because of the participants. Jack and I just like to talk a lot. (laugh)

Exactly.  The participation over the last month or so has been great.

Most sites like this are simply a directory for future reunions. To be anything more is up to the people. If you want a special site, it takes participation. This site is well on it's way to being very special. You shy people who don't think you have anything to say, you couldn't be more wrong. Speak up and be a part of this. You folks who have spoken up, many thanks.

We all shared a special time of our lives together. OK, it may not have been bliss but it's part of who you are. Let's re-capture some of those times and have some laughs and memories. I had many friends in the Class of 1964 and I know you all have something to contribute. :)

Okay Milan, save a couple of seats for Karen and I at Shannon's.

I agree with everything you said about this website.  It's the people participating that make it work.  But don't short change yourself and Jack.  Without you guys, it would just be sitting idle with no participation at all like it had been in the past.

Judy, good to see you on the message forum.  Great post!

Thanks Jack. I got some good news today that Sue has been moved back to Lincoln.  So of course now she begins the rehab road again...so keep praying!!!!!  Don't know how far this last trip to the hospital has set her back but before that they had been telling Mike she could probably go home in early March.  Let's pray that maybe she'll be able to make it home by April!  I'm hoping to get down to see her this week sometime.  Hopefully I'll know more after that.

It was great to see some sunshine today!!

Judy Shoup and Elaine Maurer were at Nancy Robinson's house (in Normal) within the last couple of years.  They called me from there, to talk about our trip to Florida during Spring Break in about 1966.  Unforgetable it was.  Don't remember how we hooked up, but Judy and Elaine rode down to Daytona Beach with Dave Holt and me.  From there they took a bus, I believe, to southwestern Florida.  They were to ride back with us, and the only plans we made was that we'd see them again on the main drag  "a week from Friday".  Sure enough, we found each other.  The adventures were incredible, especially the night we stayed in one room at a flea bag hotel (my choice) in downtown Chattanooga, TN.

It will be great when we can have Sue Watson Ehrmantraut back in this group. I think she will be pleased with what is happening here.

I remember why I thought Judy Shoup married a Lovell. She and another girl was in JC Penney's years ago when I was in management there. One of them was returning something and just wanted cash. The store policy was to give a store credit instead of refund on a gift. This was a Christmas present. I was called to explain the policy to them when they weren't happy with the policy. I didn't recognize either of them but I caught that one was Judy Shoup. I played softball with Roger Shoup for many years and he was in my wedding. So of course I made an exception. I just remembered one of the girls had the last name of Lovell. Thanks Judy McLean for straightening that out for me. Memories can be fuzzy things. (laugh)

I did show up at Shannon's this morning (late) and had a great visit with everyone.  Quite a few from the 63 class.  Diane Gardner, Sandy McHugh, Marsha Brownfield, Ann Bailen, Mike Eddings, Clayton James, Dave Rush, Mary Brucker, Karen Kuhn and me.  I think that's everyone from our class?  My memory does fail me at times!  Hope I didn't exclude anyone?  If I did, it wasn't intentional.  We all thanked Milan again for the exceptional job he has done with our website.  If Jack had been there, we would have thanked him also.  So, Jack, when you read this, we all thank you.

Sue Ehrmantraut was the Class of 64's #1 fan of this web page.  She went to it daily, even when it needed oxygen.  She was relentless in trying to keep it going.
