My email has been affected too. Sorry if anyone in here got spam from me. I didn't generate it. Not sure what to do about it. I did change my password. Hope that helps. I doubt it

Mel and Mike:

I made no exageration at all.  It is just reality here.  Yet we get told how this is one of the safest large cities in the US.  I think they are full of it!

Thanks for sharing the artwork.   I enjoy the contrast of pale color with the overtones of dark color.  Some places it reminds me of peacock feathers.  Yet the light reminds me of wood as though it were Moray Taffeta!  Nice.

Ed,

Sorry to hear about Melinda.  Will keep you and your family in my prayers.  I just lost my mother in Aug. and Hospice are wonderful people.

Ed,

I worked for a hospice in the Colorado Foothills for 11 years and found it to be extremely meaningful.  The people who choose to work in that environment do so because they really care about you and your family.  My prayer is that Malinda be comfortable and peaceful and that you share the things meaningful to both of you.

I am thinking of you both and your family.

Holly

Julie,

I just wanted to offer my condolences on the loss of your mom.  I remember walking over to your house for lunch when we were at Oakland and she always read to us while we were eating.  It really impressed me as I have always been a devourer of books...as were you.  She was a such a nice lady!

Well,

She had a pretty good week, all in all... was alert for the most part, had several friends come by almost a group a day. On Monday evening, we went to Brennan's freshman football game... he had another good game and she had a ball... put her sweatshirt over her pajamas, put on a coat, bundled her in two blankets and off we went..

Ed,

What an amazing story. I'm thrilled with your news and the vision of Malinda in a sweatshirt and pajamas at a football game. The image of it just made my day.

Ed, so happy Malinda and you are able to venture away from the bed! We all are taking one day at a time! Cheerish each day as we know you are both doing! Prayers are that you can both enjoy as many quality times together that God blesses you with! God's carrying both of you when you can't see him!

Blessings to both of you!

Brennan is out for the season. Bad ankle sprain, in an aircast and on crutches... cannot put weight on it..

He practiced Monday and because he was late, he forgot to put ankle braces on... dammit..

Hope he is healed up enough for deer season, it would be his first year and I don't know who is more excited, him or his dad.. Ed has taken him along several times, but he could never find the time to get thru a young hunter safety class due to either racing or football. this year, his dad found an instructor who let him do the bookwork online and join him for the practical class as soon as his football game was over

Blessings to you and your family!

Malinda is sleeping pretty much around the clock now. Hospice nurse says she would expect her to slip into a coma within the next few days

Here is a list Joan Pease found in her mother recipe box. I think it was from Franklin School. Denny Van Stienberg was killed in an accident where the entire family was lost. I knew all of these kids.
