Ed, so glad Malinda is able to celebrate Mother's Day at home! That IS a wonderful gift for you and your family!

Suzi, we keep praying for Dave and you also, that you will remain strong through the health trials that are currently going on in your lives! Just keep hugging one another and enjoy each moment as it comes along!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY all you fellow classmates! I hope you have a GREAT DAY!

Ed, I too am glad Milinda was able to celebrate Mothers Day at home.  There's nothing like home sweet home!

Thank you Helen, we try to keep each other laughing and smiling.  We went to a Cardinal game Friday night with Daves' oldest son and his wife.  That made me smile a lot because the cardinals lost and I was with three cardinal fans!  And yes I know the Cubs are in last place.

Ed - It was great to hear Malinda was able to get home for Mother's Day.  Hopefully she was able to enjoy some prime time with her family.

Suzi - It was nice to hear you and Dave got to take in a Cardinals game.  Glad you had an opportunity to get in some fun time with all of the trying times you have had recently.  I hope you are ready for your payback when you go to the next Cubs game with Dave and his friends.

The mini reunion was great fun.  Wish all of you could have been there.  A rough count found 38 people.  Lots of good conversation, a few new faces (it was nice to see Larry Ernst there), and lots of regulars.  Clayton prepared a few short videos of pics from past reunions and mini-reunions that were shown on a large screen TV.  Everyone seemed to enjoy the look back, especially the glimpses at Sue's always smiling face.  We will be meeting at Gill Street on August 18.  Be sure to mark your calendars.  Julie Hart has changed her travel plans so she could be there.  Are any other out of staters planning to be there?

Thanks to you all for the kind words about my Mother and her passing.  She lived a long and happy life.  She was ready to go and now she is at peace and as she says, she is contented.  It's the cycle of life and hers was very good.  Suzy and Ed, I'll be thinking about Melinda and Dave.  Just live each day to the fullest.   Right now I am very busy, so I will get back on the site in a few days.  Again, thanks to everyone.

Rod

I am still trying to get details. Bob Holman told me that this happened in Milton, Florida a few days ago. It was a liver problem but like I said, I am trying to get details.

Does anyone have pictures to share from the most recent Mini Reunion?

Hi classmates:

Suzy, I hope Dave is doing better.   Ed, I hope that Melinda is feeling better now too.  Karen Blandford, I wish you a happy birthday.

Our weather man says we are suppose to surpass the triple digits on Wednesday with a 101.  Some people love this much heat.  But, not me.  I'm thankful for air conditioning and the cooler mornings in the desert!   The rest of the summer I jump in my car and out of my car for air conditioning!   I make no allowance for suntans.

That lady that tanned in the tanning beds that looked like leather, last week,...she would have one heck of a tan here.   You really can cook an egg on the sidewalk in the summer here!

Love to y'all,

Half-baked

Sorry everyone.   When I went to post a response, it wouldn't move.  I hit submit a few times and it never did react the normal way.  So, I exited and returned now to find it posted all 4 times.  Good grief!
