Happy Fathers Day to ALL

Dick Ross - Just wanted to say thanks again for offering to help me figure out my wiring problem on my 1932 Ford pickup after the mini-reunion happy hour at Cheek's about 10 yeatrs ago. We came out after dark and I had no headlights. After driving it home in the dark I worked on it the nexxt morning. I had removed the old light switch a couple weeks earliier and replaced it with a new one. The wirinng harness in 32 was all white wires under the dash, not color coded like today. I had reversed two wires on the switch and hadn't driven it after dark.

I never think about you without thinking about one evening after grade schoo[, you and  Alan Swartz had a wrestling match behind the church just south of Jefferson grade school. I watched for 10 minutes or so, left and came back in about 30 minutes. You were still wrestling, I think the two of you called it a draw,

Not sure how many pilots we have in our group, but my Dad was a pilot and owned his own plane.  I thought this was a funny joke and wouldn't be so funny if that propeller did come off.  Hope it makes you laugh like it did me.

Hi everyone:

At this very moment, I wish I had already moved!   Across the street and over 2 houses we have some questionable neighbors.  The whole neighborhood is just waiting to see what happens next!

I'm praying for myself.

Linda

Last night our strange neighbors had something delivered, then a few of them left and came back home.  Then other people showed up and voices became loud.  We saw a few guns being waived around the front of their house.  A van backed into their driveway, their garage door opened, and all kinds of new looking things were in there!  They put things into the garage and put somethings from the garage into the back of the van.

Then there was a backpack delivered and hung on their front door.  They didn't say anything to the men already in the front yard, then left.  Suddenly the other men scrambled to the backpack and then suddenly left in different cars.

Next,  they returned and some people were following them.  A few screaching tires and yelling pursued.  God, I hope they move.

Linda

Sandy - The prop falling off would be similar to the front wheel falling off my Harley at 70 or 75 mph. I try not to think about it. Just enjoy the journey.

Wildlfe  in the yard--yesterday evening a doe (deer) brought her twin fawns up to the back porch to introduce them.  They looked to be about 2 weeks old--spotted and cute as can be.  They didn't stay long, but they will be back.  A few days ago, we saw 1 fawn that must have been new-born--he was up and out with mom, but was walking with great uncertainty (like some drunk people I have known).

Suzi, what school was this and are there kids in your class that graduated with us?  I'm guessing you are the third one from either side in the front row?  Correct?

I'm visiting my son in NH and going to Portsmouth tomorrow night for a massive fireworks display celebrating the 4th as well as the 400th anniversary of Portsmouth NH. A huge bonus in my visit is getting time with my 23 month old great granddaughter.

Happy fourth to the terrific BHS class of 64.

Hi guys!  Im still kickin!  Just quiet!  Been working on my new website for months.  Changing website hosts requires new skill sets and lots of time.  Since I dont have a public art studio, this is my only way to share my art.  You all have a great week!  NancyCupp.com.   It is a work in progress.

Linda, thank you so much for your kind words.  In my art, I decided a long time ago to stay on the positive side and show the beauty in our world. We don't need more gore or negativity.  There are a lot of artists out there that have chosen shock and grotesque images that can give us nightmares. The work of an artist is an extension of their human soul.  It is an artist's right to make whatever they want to, but I have chosen to make art that uplifts and touches the heart, and points people to Jesus Christ. I just see differently.  I try to stop and smell the roses. His sweet fragrance is there for those who take time to breath it in.
