Here is a hint; part of the building is in another picture that I posted in here.

Many classmates walked past that building every day going to BJHS. Many walked past that building going downtown. It was demolished in 1979. Of course it's partially a parking lot and bank now. :)

Next to Withers?

That's it, Jack. It was the Bloomington Club. It was across the courtyard from the library. I never knew the name of the building or what was in it until last year.

Don't forget the joint breakfast on December 24th at Shannon's at 8am. Then the joint dinner at Alexander's Steakhouse in Normal on December 27th. Social time from 4 til 6 and dinner starts at 6pm.

This is a joint effort with the Classes of 1963 and 1964. We do need to know who is coming so please let me know if you can make it. If you don't let me know but find yourself available at the last minute, come anyway. They will make room. We do have the private room for the dinner.

Come on, jump in on this and get involved. :)

Great job on the music.  I love it.  Thanks Jack for your diligence.

Thanks.  There's a way you can keep the music playing when visiting the other pages..instructions later.  What I'm doing is keeping the home page music on while I do e-mails and other stuff.

Remember this? It was next door to the Bloomington Club. And it was across the street from the Castle Theater.

Remember this? The Theater, not the car. :)

Have fun tonight at Cheeks. Wish I could be there. Be sure to tell us stories about tonight's party. :)

Good news from Sue Watson Ehrmantraut's daughter:

GREAT day for Mom! Been breathing all on her own today with no oxygen assistance or vent.

This is a personal opinion but here goes. This site was a bit dormant for a period of time. It needs reviving. Without conversation, why would a person come in if they have ever been in before? No obvious changes other than a few updates on profiles. We need to have some activity. This message board needs to be the pulse of the site. Until lately, we have been averaging about 8 visits per day. We are above 12 now but still no real activity. We have even had spikes of over 30 but still not many of those. Any suggestions? It will take some dialog to make this more interesting to visit.

Did anyone show up at Cheeks? I was invited but had other plans.

Cheryl and I could talk about her hair but we've done that. And it looks great, I might add.

Sandy Jeakins, do you still sing? Do you see your grandchildren often? Sharrie Peasley, did you have to come to town during the snow this weekend?

Victor Jackson, wish I was in California now. I'm not a big winter fan. (laugh)

Ed Stanfield, good advice on the colonoscopy. Not fun but so necessary.

Dave Long, tell us about some of your fantastic trips.

I use maiden names for the ladies because that's how I remember you. I don't mean it as a lack of respect. Ok, I am a lazy typist. :)

Everyone had a good time at Cheeks on Saturday night.  Quite a good turnout.  I took some pictures and have e-mailed them to Jack to post.  Ann Bailen also took some pics and I'm sure they will be on the website soon.  Sorry you couldn't make it.

I can't wait to see the pictures. I think the next get together is the one at Shannon's on Dec. 24th at 8am. Then Dec. 27th at Alexanders Steakhouse. 4 til 6 is social time and dinner at 6pm. I hope the turnout is good on those days too.

Steve and Jane still pretty much look the same as they did when they were young. OK, Steve has a beard. But that's Steve.

Did I mention?

Don't forget the joint breakfast on December 24th at Shannon's at 8am. Then the joint dinner at Alexander's Steakhouse in Normal on December 27th. Social time from 4 til 6 and dinner starts at 6pm.

This is a joint effort with the Classes of 1963 and 1964. We do need to know who is coming so please let us know if you can make it. If you don't let us know but find yourself available at the last minute, come anyway. They will make room. We do have the private room for the dinner. The Class of 1962 is invited but at this point, we have no real source of contact. So it you know anyone from that class, invite them.

Come on, jump in on this and get involved. :)

And even if they send you a lousy picture of yourself, in fairness to the others who look good, you have to show it. Diane Gardner and Cheryl Turner Hitzner. Cheeks 12-4-10

Great pics Jack. I do have to ask, is Jane awake? :)

She definately is awake in the first pic.  Maybe it took her a long time to eat the sandwich.
