David Long:   Thank you for posting that message about our loved ones in Heaven.  Ron died in April of1985, 5 days after we found out our first Grandchild was coming in December.  So he never knew our 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren we have now..  And, although, he was proud of our two Sons, he didn't get to see the kind of men they grew to be and he would be proud of that, also.  I like to think he is looking down on them and us as we gathered tonight for our Christmas get together.  I feel so sad they never knew their Grandpa.

Marvin:  I know you are having a great Christmas visiting with your family and new Great-Grandchild.

Merry Christmas to all of the class of 1964.  Everybody have a Very Happy New Year.

I hope everybody had their fill of cookies and egg nog from Christmas.  Now it is time to turn the page and say Happy New Year!!  If the weatherman is right, it should be a wild ride (freezing rain/snow, etc.) in the St. Louis, Mo area.

Happy New Year All! May 2022 be outstanding in good ways for us all! Had a wonderful phone call from Teri Sue Rapp yesterday!. She has had a pinched nerve in her neck but getting better. They are fine otherwise. Such a treat! We usually talk once a year at some point.    As for the earthquake, I thought a plane had crashed nearby. Loud noise and everything moved. A new experience for us.. We are about 2 miles from epicenter. I guess there have been more aftershocks, but I haven't noticed. Hope that's it!

Boo:

So glad that all is well with you.

I think I would be checking for cracks in the house: checking foundation, bricks outside and drywall from floor to ceiling inside, and then the roof.

Everything can be left slightly out of plumb now.

I pray that everything is perfect!

Love ya, Linda

Isn't today the day of the 3 Kings?  That means a lot of people are taking down Christmas decorations!

Prayer Warriors - Please keep the families of my good friends that passed away in the last couple of months in your prayers:

Joe Lagowski - a Marine Corps and Knights of Columbus buddy for more than 20 years

Paul Meints - a friend from the Bloomington / Normal Ski Club for more than 45 years

Steve Szewczyk - a golf buddy for more than 30 years

Joe Kennedy - a friend from the Knights of Columbus for more than 25 years

and of course: Max, my friend going back to our grade school days at Lincoln Elementary - more than 65 years ago.

This has been a tough 4 months!

I also need your prayers as I go under the knife on January 25th for a 2nd back surgery. It's supposed to be an easy procedure with just one overnight stay.  That was what I was told before my 16th Knee operation aka my 4th knee replacement....let us hope this goes better than that one.  Signing off for now.

Peace, Love, Health, and Rock n Roll!

Love ya, Linda

Karen Sue (Suzi) Denton (Merritt)

Linda I haven't started it yet.  Covin has been bad here and I found out I'm anemic so I've had two iron infusions.  I go back to cancer center (that's where I get infusion) on Thursday.  If my blood is ok I don't have to have another infusion for awhile.

Hugs
Suzi

Suzi,

Best wishes on all your procedures.  I know what a pain the iron infusion is, as I had to have one post the amputation.  6 hours of not moving while they ran the iron in.  I'm really sorry you have to go through this, but thankful for the advances in medicine to make miracles possible.

Prayers for you and your family as you go through this

Suzi:  You were going back on Thursday!   How did you get on with that?  I hope you start your physical therapy soon!

Love ya, Linda
