Milan,
Sue is doing pretty good now after a couple set backs of pneumonia and trips back to the hospital. She's having a little trouble during her therapy sessions as her right knee is really bothering her now and her left arm and shoulder are also sore as the muscles have tighted up due to her arm being strapped to her body for awhile after the pacemaker - defibulator was put in. The pain makes it hard for her to do everything that they are asking her to do. She has been walking with the walker back and forth to the therapy room which is real progress but still has some big strides to make. They are hoping she may be able to come home by the end of the month. I wasn't able to get down to see her last weekend as I've been fighting an awful cough and cold and wouldn't dare go near Sue in that condition. I'm hoping that I'll be better by this coming weekend so we can get down to see her. I tell her everything I've been reading on this forum and she is excited about the idea of getting home and being able to read everyone's comments and hopefully to respond sometime soon. She loves hearing about everyone!
Sorry, that I haven't posted anything for awhile but have been busy working my second job at an Accounting Office. I only work there during tax season so I'll be done by next Monday. I can hardly wait!!!! I'm always glad when I'm finished. Will be happy to be back to just working my 14 hours a week at the church. I keep telling my husband that this wasn't how I had planned my retirement. I just took the church job to get me out of the house because his retirement meant just a little too much together time for me. It's a good thing that this full-time stuff only lasts for about 10 weeks because I'm getting to old for this!!!!! Just received my medicare card yesterday, now I really feel old!!
Hope everyone is enjoying this spring weather. I'll update about Sue after I see her next time. Take care.
Judy
