Steve Jetton

Hey Suzi ..... I am planning on being at Gill St, so I think I can hold off until then to find out what your "little item" is.  Although the excitment of waiting may be difficult to live with.

Hope a lot of classmates show up ...... in addition to the roundup of "usual suspects."   Not that there is anything wrong with being one of the "usual suspects" - a group that I belong I think.  Or maybe kicked out for being a backslider.

I believe Marvin commented that I must have had an important reason for not showing up a few weeks ago.  (Is Marvin a person who is capable of sarcasm?)   Had good intentions but visited some friends and after a couple hours in the afternoon heat wound up conking out when I got home.  That will have to do.

Steve, I may not be there.  How about I give you clues and I'll let you know if you guess right.  If I can't make it I'll give it to someone who will be there.

In the meantime here's your first clue.  It's not heavy.

Suzi

Looks like Max has stepped in as my "designated thinker,"  which is something I could use a lot more of.  Given his superior creativity, I will go with his answers and await the next clue.

BTW - for Max, Dave Long, and other guys from the old Raider track team.  Don't know if you followed or not, but the boys team grabbed a third place trophy at state a couple weeks ago. Maybe this is the first time the track team has ever brought home hardware from state, I don't know.

BHS would've / should've won except their star sprinter, Lockhart, came up lame late in the Friday qualifying day.  He would've been a favorite in both the 100 and 200, plus the 4x100 and 4x200 relays would almost certainly have won with him anchoring.

Here's something else for you to think about, Max.  I saw in the P-graph this morning that a local man won 4 golds in the National Senior Olympics, age 100 - 104 division.  He took the 100 in 65 seconds.  I think you've got that if you can just hang in there for a few more years.

Steve...

Just trying to help you out a little.  Go for the gold, Steve.  Hey, maybe it's a little gold nugget?  Or maybe NOT! I think everybody should submit their guesses.  That will make our clue giver work a bit harder to try and stump all of us.  In the end, Jetton will be the ultimate winner of the coveted prize.

An Au pair?  Could do light housework and be petite.

Probably couldn't bring her home, though.

Ryan Demptster had an au pair when he was with the Cubs, but that didn't work out too well....

So you're saying this is a female thing?  Alright, let's hear from a few of them.  Ladies... it's/they're not heavy and they 'usually' come in pairs.  Suzi... did you purchase a pair of them?  You said 'usually' if I remember correctly.  But the first clue was 'it's' not heavy, implying a single thing.

BHS shoestrings... for his tennis shoes when he's playing championship matches?
