Thank you for posting.  I already watched both parts on one of the other BHS class's website.  I totally enjoyed it!  I can say that I have never had the pleasure of meeting Mary Selk, as I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.  So singing was out of the question for me in high school.  But I sure do have a lot of respect and admiration for her and all that she has accomplished.  It is plain to see why all of you that had her a teacher, and later a friend, honor her like you do.  She should be at the top of the  "Great Mentors in Life" list without a doubt.  Hats off to her.

Milan, it's wonderful that you posted this for all of us to see and hear. Besides recognizing several people from our Class of '64, it was John Waddell that really excited me. I remember hearing him sing at our church in the late 50s and have always loved his voice. Like Max, I couldn't sing my way out of a bad saloon, but I have gotten to know Mary Selk, and Waddell was absolutely correct, she is a "mentor's mentor." His "Old Man River" is a fitting tribute to an incredible teacher, who continues to inspire everyone and just keeps on rollin' at the age of 95. Thanks Milan.
