Hey Milan,

I can't find your name on the class list either.  Does that mean you weren't a member of the class of 64 or did you change name?

Maybe after 50 years I just can't remember you.  You seem to know a lot about the class and everyone seems to know you.  This is sort of an embarrassing situation, so can you please help me solve this mystery?

Steve

Steve...

Milan is in the Class of '63.  He has helped out with the websites for the Classes of '61, '62, and '64 as well as his own... that I know of.  He may have helped other classes, also.  I thank him for the help he has given us as well as the others.  Hope that clears up why you don't remember him being in our class.

Wondering along with Milan, why isn't Jim Morin listed with our class?

Max

Jim Morin was in my home room! His Dad was a Driver Training Teacher and taught me to drive. His Mother was also a teacher and died in 1985! I was able to locate her obituary and think I may have located Jim too, but am at a dead end. I think his middle name is Joseph and I think he may be currently living in the Highlands Ranch, CO, area, IF I'm on the right track! I clearly remember where the Morin family lived when we were in High School. They lived in a brick home on a corner on East Oakland Ave. Hopefully this will jog some memories and help to locate Jim! Jim's Sr. picture is located on page 115 of our 1964 Yearbook.

I knew he was in our class and I remember both his mom & dad and where they lived on Oakland.  Guess he got overlooked when the list was made out for the Classmate Profile on this website.  Hope you find him and bring him back.

Helen:

I have James J. Morin from Geneva and Oakbrook, Il to Highlands Ranch and Denver, CO.  I also looked at Parker, CO.

I'll see if I can find a number and address.

Thank you Linda! I also came up with that same information! A current phone # would be helpful!

Found a ham operator, insurance guy:  James J. Morin, 202 Anderson Blvd., Geneva, IL  60134.

I did not find an address.

I'm at work and have to get busy.  Everyone have a good day!

This is off subject but it's a happy day in Mexico. Not only is it 82* but I walked to town and paid my annual property taxes of $58.86 at the current exchange rate of 13.26. My water/sewer was higher at $264.00. I picked up a weeks worth of veggies at the public market and had lunch on the plaza. Viva Mexico! I love this place.

"The Case of the Missing Jim Morin!"

I sure hope that he didn't live in Cabot Cove, Maine. A lot of people turn up dead in that place. Jessica Fletcher was pretty good at solving the murders, but they still planted them, toes up. May need to bring in the Feds on this one.

Maybe I'm reading too many David Baldacci mystery novels?

Mike Franks:  It is entirely possible that the address I found for Jim Morin is accurate.   Cell phones don't have a listing I can find.

Jane:  Glad your taxes are small, and that you like to walk to town.  I hope your 'paradise' doesn't change for you!   Enjoy!

Love ya, Linda

Anyone know how to contact Cheri Wombacher? I haven't seen her on this forum.

I think Joe Morin lives in Carbondale. He would know Jim's number

Cheri's medical status doesn't allow for her interaction in this venue.

We all have a lot to catch up on!  Hope to see you at the big 50 reunion!

Love ya, Linda

Hey you guys in Illinois.  I tried but couldn't get Joe Morin's #.   I'm going to leave that to someone up there.   Please help!

Linda

Medical? She's my cousin and I just learned my aunt Dodie died more than a year ago. Is this an inappropriate question for this site? Information is scarce. Cheri and her mother came to Oregon about 10 years ago and it was a great vacation. I expected to see her as an active member here. Thanks for any personal info at xia.marco@yahoo.com.

Duh!

Joe Morin, Jim's dad, died a few months ago. Better make that a long distance call.

"Jim Morin....Phone home!"

Last I heard, Jim was changing oil at Speed Lube IIX, in Jackass Flats, KY.

Joe lives in Cairo, not Carbondale. He was alive for the 50 class of 1963 reunion but didn't attend. I don't think Joe has died.

Never mind. Jim Morin was on this site and requested his info be removed. Sorry

I meant to suggest that this is what probably happened. I was pretty sure I saw his name listed at one time. Ran into Jim in the late 70’s or early 80’s, I believe it was, at the local (then called) Chicago Health Club. We talked, and he lived not 1 ½ miles from me. He was in some sort of motivational business, as I recall, but was not at all interested in HS. So, my conclusion was and is that he just does not want to be found.
