GREAT FAMILY PICTURE Jerry! Family moments are PRICELESS!

Marilyn,

we will probably go to next crusise nite, weather permitting.  I'll look for you and you are right about the yelling. Probably wouldn't have heard you. My husband says I have selective hearing.  go figure.

I'm with Jerry on the California summer nights...always have a sweater with me and love to sleep with the windows open and the air so cool you pull the blanket up in the middle of the night.  Growing up in Bloomington and living in Texas for 10 years I really appreciate the cool nights!

Hi Holly:

You lived in East Texas right?   I'm in west Texas....as far west as you can get!   I'm in the Chihuahuan Desert.  Our nights are 30 to 40 degrees cooler than our days.   However, I NEVER have a window open.  I just use refrigeration.

When I'm in Bloomington and my sister opens a window............I just don't get it.   I like my pollution filtered!

Love to all, Linda

When I lived in East Texas (houston), there was no airconditioning unless you were either very wealthy or in a movie theater.. whole house fans and open windows were the only way to cool off

Gerald (Jerry) Plummer

Thanks Helen and I couldn't agree more with your sentiment regarding family time.  Ours usually involves multiple guitars, keyboards, bongos, maracas and lots of wine and singing.  Generally the longer the evening, the greater the wine consumption, the better we sound.

Equally a good picture of your October group.  Problem is it looks like you don't have any fun. (joking)

Judith (Judy) McLean (Wilder)

Hope everyone has a wonderful Labor Day!  Please stop for a minute during your day to remember our wonderful friend Sue Ehrmantraut who left us last year on Labor Day.  The date was Sept. 5th so hasn't been exactly a year but it was Labor Day last year. From now on that is what I will always remember about Labor Day...losing my best friend!!!  Say a little prayer for Mike and the family as they face this anniversary.

Judy:

Thanks for the reminder!   Hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend!

Love to all, Linda

Hey Milan:

Will you (or someone) be talking to anyone in the class of '62 in October at Homecoming?   Anxious to know how it goes for them.

Linda

I am on the planning committee for the Class of 1962. I will attend the Saturday night of the event.

I just made 2 Baba au Rum cakes with strawberries and whipped cream for tonight's game night.  Wish you all were here to try them!

Milan, I hope their reunion is a success.

Good grief!   Does anyone know any light-hearted (not filthy) dirty jokes to get people to participate in this venue?

_______

Mr. and Mrs. Invisible got married.  Later, they had children.   However, they weren't much to look at either!

Oh well!  This is what you get if I'm bored!
