"Jean" and I became fast friends in the 3rd grade, when she first came to Washington Grade School. She was a pretty little blonde, fairly quiet. We had a lot of fun from grade school to junior high. I felt at home with her family - very nice people. Went to her visitation in Farmer City and one of her daughters looks almost exactly like Jean. I wish I had known she was ill; I would have kept in touch with her.

Jeanie, Tonya, Ginny Conway and I went to the drive-in one night. We didn't want to pay for all of us so Jeannie and I got in my trunk and Tonya drove. Talk about a scary time! So sorry she left us.
