Fall in this area (ST. Louis) has been very dry and the warm temps have extended much later than usual--Result, very few colorful hillsides and almost drought -like conditions. There might be a colorful tree here and there, but nothing spectacular. We missed the snow here, but I saw on the weather that it got as far south as Charleston, Il.
The late tomato crop is starting to come in (green tomatoes harvested and wrapped when the temps got into the 40's a while back. Should have tomatoes til close to Christmas.
Otherwise, I have been making candles for Christmas gifts for the last few weeks. I hope I am about done--have about 50 on the shelf.
