LINDA... if you can't smell the roses... how about the cactus ?  If you have them!  Just be careful not to prick your eyeballs or nose with the sharp needles!  Enjoy spring.... West Michigan is sunny and in the 60's!  HURRA

Hi Rookus!

El Paso has 13 types of cactus.  I am fascinated with them and how they react to the seasons.  They too blossom.  I had many mor,e on the mountain behind my back wall at my old house, than I do now.

Many years ago, a woman from Germany was married to a soldier, while, living in El Paso.  She hated the desert.  She sprinkled seeds to yellow poppies on the NE side of Mt. Franklin.   Today, every April, we have acres and acres of those yellow poppies that put on quite a showing!  It has become a favorite for locals, as well as visitors, to get a photo of them.

I can no longer have fresh flowers in my house.  Allergies don't tolerate them.

Blessings and happy day to you and your's,

Linda

Thank you Suzi.  However, it doesn't look good.  He had a pre-existing condition.  He fell out of his chair and has been unconscious ever since.  He is on a ventilator but has not opened his eyes or anything.  We'll see how this goes.  He is 87 1/2 now.  My siblings are at those higher years now!

Love ya, Linda

Linda, are you the youngest?  Maybe he'll bounce back.  I'll say some prayers for him.  🙏🙏<>>

I lost my sister two years ago.  It was just the two of us.  She was eighteen years older than me and her oldest child is four months older than me.
love you

Suzi

Suzi:

I'm the youngest of 9; 6 girls and 3 boys.  The oldest is 20 1/2 years to the day, older than me.  The closest to my age is 5 years older.  I became an aunt at 8 months old.

I grew up with a lot of older people.  But, my family live for a long time.  Our ancestry shows that on both sides the family have lived from 93 to 103.

Me..........I wonder what I'll be when I grow up!

Thank you Suzi!

Love ya, Linda

Linda--God still answers prayer.  Several years before my mother died, she had a massive stroke.  She was unconscious for about 2 weeks.  She woke up 1 morning, looked around, saw that she was in a hospital room, and asked why she was there.  They got her up, had her in therapy for a couple of days, then sent her home.  She lived another 10 years without major issues.  Will keep your brother in prayer.

Rookus and Boo:

Thank you.

I speak to all of my siblings every Saturday morning.  (for the last 30 years).

However, I haven't seen this brother since 2009.  They live in Las Vegas.

In fact, I haven't seen any of my siblings since the last time I visited for a mini-reunion.

Thanks again.

Love to all, Linda
