Good luck to Pam Hohnstreiter Zweng in her retirement. She's always been one of the "good guys" around here, and the same for husband John. One word of caution if you want to reach Pam -- she told me last week that she and John don't have a computer at home and probably won't get one. So you'll need to drop her a snail mail note or call her on a land line if you want to communicate.

The latest edition of the class newsletter came out last week. I have e-mail addresses for many of our classmates, but not all. If you didn't get one but would like to have one, e-mail me direct jkeefe@cbhoa.com . Delivery is via e-mail, and in PDF format.

I had known Lila since we were in grade school. I have only fond memories of a very subdued, smart and nice person. May she rest in peace.

New subject --

The class newsletter -- Alumni Aegis of 1964 -- will be out in about a week. If you want a copy but haven't gotten the previous editions, please e-mail me at jkeefe@cbhoa.com. Since the last edition in March I have changed computers, and might have lost some of my e-mail contacts.  The newsletter is delivered via e-mail.

The info tech guy I work with says, "It's complicated."

Hoping all is well with all of you -- Jack

We have 46 missing classmates. Look at the list and please give me any information on those you know about. Especially the girls who married and we only have their maiden names. Thanks for anything you can do.

We are gradually getting caught up on the In Memory section. Let us know who we missed.

What are you doing for the Holidays?  Let us know what you are up to and include some photos if you like. As for me and my family, we are making Annie do all of the heaving lifting i.e. making the 25 lb. turkey and figuring out where the Bailen/Eddings clan can fit around the table.

For all of you who did not hear, Sue Watson Ehrmantraut fell in early October off of her porch and has been hospitalized for several weeks and is now in a rehabilitation facility in Peoria.  She is making good progress, but it will be a long process. Please keep Sue inyour thoughts and prayers and any cards or letters to her home address which is 404 Phoenix Avenue, Bloomington, IL 61701.

I was fortunate to have supper with Sandy Hammond, Cheri Wombaucher, Diane Gardner, and Annie Bailen. Your class is a hoot. I hope you appreciate this venue to communicate with each other. I'm from the class of 1963 and our's is working pretty good. Have fun with this and make some friends from the old days. I have and have enjoyed it a lot.

Just my wife, Billie, and I for Thanksgiving but Christmas will be with our daughter.
