Larry E. Alcorn, 72, a life long resident ofBloomington passed away on July 28,2019 at his home. He had been in declining health.
He was born October 23, 1946, in Bloomington, the son of Albert and Pauline Moffitt Alcorn. His parents preceded him in death. Larry’s younger brother Jim Alcorn who passed away in 2013 also preceded him.
Cremation services were private.
Larry graduated from BHS in 1964 and was a member of Teamsters International for several decades prior to his retirement in 2009. He was a member of Park Methodist Church. His main focus for many years was his son Lester Alcorn of Normal, who survives.
He is also survived by a brother David (Liz) Alcorn, a sister-in-law Debbie Alcorn, a nephew Lance Alcorn, and 3 nieces; Nicole (Pat) Henson, Tracy (Brent) Banning, and Casey Alcorn.
Larry was a quiet, well mannered gentleman who lived his life the way he wanted. God Bless you, Larry, may you Rest In Peace.
