Thanks for the B-day greeting Suzi !....  I have inverted the numbers and today I am going to feel 37 again.

First to a free lunch at the best Italian restaurant in Grand Rapids, Mi, then some laughs at the new Madea movie, and hit a few antique shops to see lots of "OLDER STUFF" in hopes it will help me feel younger again!

There is a very nice article in the Pantagraph today about Charlie and Kathy Crabtree.  Charlie was an amazing man and now Kathy is carrying on his legacy although she already had started her own.  She’s a very strong woman and I wish I was half as strong as she is.

The Planning Committee has been discussing the mini-reunion plan for this year. Due to the 55th reunion scheduled for Aug 16-17-18 we are tentatively planning on only having the December mini-reunion this year. Furlong Sports Bar has replaced Swinger's Grill and is willing to let us use their larger banquet room for our December 7 mini-reunion without a minimum order requirement. We are strongly leaning that direction.

The 55th reunion and 2019 mini-reunion invitations will hopefully be in the mail by the middle of next week.

David and Ray:

I got a kick out of your skiiing!

I made sure that my children had lessons.  Then...........they wouldn't go down the mountains without me!

I can't tell you how many times I was able to get down the mountain slopes both standing and sitting!

But, it all paid off.   My kids ski very well as do all 5 grandchildren!

For me, I call skiing 'slip sliding'.  I've had 16 casts on just my right ankle, and 1 on my left.

Now, I never have to do it again!
