
Jack C. Walker, 58, formerly of Bloomington-Normal, died Saturday (11/6/04) at his residence in Casper, Wyoming.
There will be a burial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington, in his family plot.
Jack was born July 26, 1946, the son of the late Jack and Alice Elaine Campbell Walker. He married Cathy French, Aug. 28, 1976.
Jack is survived by his sons, Thad (Kristine Davis) Walker, Phoenix; and Kent Walker of Bloomington. Also surviving are his ex-wife, Cathy; family friends, Chelsea French and Michelle Cox; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents and grandparents preceded him in death.
Jack graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University. After serving in the Viet Nam War, Jack went to work with State Farm Insurance Companies, where he has worked for 35 plus years before going to work for the Fire Company and transferring to the mountain states region where he worked in the Fire Claims area. Jack was a master in fraud claims detection and testified in several major arson investigations.
