Children: I am "grandmother" to a couple of nieces' children. Ben (12) and Alex (10), Pinehurst, NC and Michael More…(8) and Myla (6) who live in Normal. It's a unique experience being in a child's world.

I love music - all kinds. Thanks to Ms Selk for peaking my interest. I have been singing with ISU's Civic Chorale since 1991.

I am President of an auditioned choral ensemble called Cantus Novus; I also sing with group.

I help start, and sang with the McLean County Choral Society, under the direction of Dr. Linda Farquaharson, IWU, and I am a former board member for the Heartland Jazz Orchestra.

Where would we be without the arts!
School Story:

Mary Selk had a couple of choir reunions a few years back. I talked to John Brown (Pastor John now) on the phone as he was trying to remember what I looked like. He said "Patty, you were tall, skinny and had dark hair." "John," I said, "I'm still tall."

Pat has been a wonderful friend and will be greatly missed. She was with Mel, Judy and I when my mom died. She was a treat to know and a dedicated singer having founded the choral group Contus Novus. She was the first female ISU police officer. She was a very private person but I feel priviledged to have been among the few who have been close to this friend that was too special for words to describe. RIP Pat!

These are great pictures and great memories. Think you could find anything on Biasi's Drug Store? They had a soda fountain/mini food counter where we'd stop after school. Yes, a very long time ago.
