Vicki graduated from Bloomington High School, where she met and eventually Married David Maxwell. From Illinois, Vicki mover to Tennessee for 10 years, where she raised her daughter.

Then she moved to Hawaii for six years to be with her mother, where she worked for Outrigger Hotel. She and her mother moved back to Illinois in 1986. Vicki was then employed by Diamond Star Motors as an executive receptionist. Vicki met Roger Bliss in early 1993 and they were married Sept. 21, 1992 in Bloomington.

Vicki had an interest in music and was very talented in playing the piano and singing. She liked to create original handmade greeting cards with custom-made rubber stamps. Christmas was her favorite season and Vicki’s collection of Christmas decorations was always seen early and in full force. A knack for interior decorating was obvious and Vicki loved paying attention to all the small details.

Her eyes were always filled with kindness for others. Her heart was always full of love and her smile was full of beauty. A weakness for helpless, abandoned animals seemed to be a theme of her life. Quite often a scraggly kitten was adopted and cared for. She had a strong love for her family and friends.

Vicki spent her days with her daughter, Michelle, enjoying the beauty and grandeur of the Grand Teton National Park backcountry in Wyoming. She was smiling and waving to everyone she passed on the trail and shared her good time with all the family present. Her happiness will be surely missed.
