Milan... I agree with Jack on the Memory Page.  I like it this way.

Happy New Year to all,  Max

You are doing an outstanding job on the website.  It needed someone like you and Jack to keep it interesting.  I've looked at it more in the last few weeks than I have in months!!!

As for Terry Maxwell - I don't think black hair is me.  Remember, blondes have more fun!

Cheryl...  how will you know if you don't try it?  I was just making a suggestion to give you a new look.

Cheryl, you must be one of only 4 or 5 people looking at this website.  If you look at the Forum on the Class of 63 website, there is always a large group in different discussions.  Maybe our class is just shy, huh?

Thanks to some clues, we are down to 18 on the missing list. We know that Joyce Smith married Keith Scott and moved to Carlsbad, NM. But I can't find them after Carlsbad. We are getting close. Found Dixie Works Houser today and she is in Bloomington. It helps when you have the present name. :)

This is one area and the In Memory section, where we have accomplished a lot. We had over 40 missing a couple of months ago. Now the obituaries are caught up and we are only looking for 18 missing classmates. Keep the clues coming.

I knew a lot of your classmates and I would never have believed it was full of "shyness".  Ok, I will give you the latest stats.

In the last 24 hours, 10 members have signed in.

In the last 7 days, 30 have signed in.

In the last 30 days, 53 have signed in.

We are getting a little activity but we aren't getting any participation. You are letting an old man do more than half the talking that goes on in here. (laugh)

Jack Habich

I'm guessing that another 3 or 4 people per day come on without signing in.

Milan, I have an idea where you might be able to find info on Juanita Jumper.  Doris Harris works at Macy's on the second floor.  I bet she might know something?  I don't go there much, but I can check with her next time I'm in there.

Terry, Terry, Terry - I'm not brave enough to go from blonde to black.  I am adventurous, but when it comes to my hair, can't do it.

Vic, see the ABC checkmark on the right side of the header when you open to respond? That's spellcheck. Of course it doesn't know Pres. Obama. (laugh)

Cheryl, as I NEVER go to Macy's, I will await your return trip there with info.

And Victor J., when I put in my two cents, I'm pretty much all in.

Are you talking about Fairbanks, Alaska, or Fairbanks Ranch, CA?

Victor Jackson

Vic, I was in the class of 1963. I sort of remember you. I am on loan to your site. (laugh)

I am here to search for missing people and missing conversations. :)

01/06/11 08:13 PM #178

Milan Jackson

If I shop, I know ahead of time what I want and what size. I am in and out in 10 minutes. (laugh)

01/07/11 01:16 AM #181

Victor Jackson

Yes he did Jack! So I took my wife and kid we had the best time. Befor that they stuck me at, are you ready for this??? Malibu beach CA! It was tough going but I stayed, and did my duty

01/07/11 08:31 AM #182

Jack Habich

I checked, and there were no attacks on Malibu during your time there.  We're all very proud of you, not to mention Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello.

All I have done is clean some things up and find some people. If this venue becomes a value to this class, it will be from the participation of the classmates. It will have little to do with me. I am only here to help. I am starting to like what I see. Come on folks, speak up. I was thinking about starting a political fight in here just to wake some people up but politics are not a good topic for a site like this. It's so much better for remembering.

Remember the popcorn stand outside of the Castle Theater? Jack Keefe has some information on that one. :)

I was just above the Playboy beach house, had to make sure it was ok!

Milan what was the bld. in #52?

01/07/11 02:16 PM #185

Milan Jackson

It was the Bloomington Club. Just across the lawn from Wither's Library. I remember the building well but I knew nothing about the club. Just another Bloomington building torn down.
