Here it is Friday again. These weeks sure go by fast.

On a trip to Texas last year I saw this truck on display in a farm field and had to get a picture.

Happy Friday!  Took a walk around the yard taking pix of our (my wife's) flower gardens.  There are 7 different beds.  Here are a few blooming now.

i'm embarrassed to say i only put catsup and onions on hot dogs.blush  don't put mustard on burgers either - catsup, onion, and pickle only.

gail - found the picture you were refering to. they didn't name my dog in the pic - bridget.  who was margaret theis?  remember the buckeye tree (i think) in your backyard?  it always fascinated me.

oakland school KG - mike cox, allida frisch, me, dick harwood.

Julie, thank you for not telling what foods we were looking at. I don't think I could have handled knowing. LOVED the kindergarten photo. Do you have more?

Dave, you are more creative than I imagined. Not exactly a Van Gogh, but not bad for a budding (punny) artist.

Marv, I didn't react to your family photos, because, well, it would have been redundant. LOL

So for FREE FOR ALL FRIDAY, this is my shot. For over a dozen years I've been actively involved in helping Purdue University in Westville, Indiana build an art collection. I've introduced them to over 30 aritst friends in Chicago who have donated over 700 works of art. Purdue has 25 of my photos in their collection and is currentely exhibiting over a hundred more pieces on 3 campuses. Their collection is called Odyssey, which started with outdoor sculpture. This is one of most fun pieces in the collection. A 15 foot tall tricycle that is actually driveable. Photo taken when I visited there with my neighbors a few years ago.

JULIE .... all I can think of to say is ... YUK !!!  I think I'll stick to Hot Dogs !  All the recent hot dog talk got me hungry for them ... just returned from super market with hot dogs in my bag!

Max - Your wife has some beautiful flowers. Really enjoyed seeing them.

Julie - Thanks for joining me in posting old family photos. It is so neat to see how people dressed and presented themselves. The pictures can give a sense of what thier lives might have been like. The kindergarten pics was really fun to see. Your hair style was amazing. Also, I am guesing the guard animal in your photo is an elephant.

Jim - I just got back from the store. Johnsonville brats outweighed hot dogs for me. They will get grilled and covered in mustard and relish. Ketchup is for meatloaf. I notice in the hot dog video Dave posted one of the restaurants had a very strong message regarding ketchup on dogs.

For Silly Saturday I have decided on a 2005 photo I took of my niece (aka - Mel's daughter). She has the most amazing eyes when she is at a party.

Julie, love seeing your family photos. Your Mom was wonderful. I could be wrong about the date, but in 2009 she came to my opening at the McLean County Art Center. It was a thrill to see her.

Marv's photo of my daughter with the two candle lights as eyes has been and is one of my favorites.

So, in keeping with Joan's SILLY SATURDAY theme, I have two images. The first is a photo from last week of me and my granddaughter swimming with goggles. The second is my birthday card from her in which the two of us are in the pool. Notice the goggles. It's a keeper. BTW, I'm up to 37 miles and counting.

MEL .... you don't look silly ,,, just OLD ,,, hahaha.
JULIE ...  those photos are so nicely displayed .... when I see pics of days pst with people " well dressed" I could really enjoy living in the past ... especially 50's-60's ... still had modern conveniences ... but much more simple life.... cars were distinctively beautiful and people knew how to communicate with each other ... what happened to sidewalks and front porches....  call me an old  " fuddy-daddy " ... I have broad shoulders !

Just a reminder ......  Tomorrow is the TWINS  M & M birthday ....  πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸŽπŸŒπŸ˜

Thank you Suzi for all the times you've done this Birthday celebration to our classmates. But, as a twin, this one is awkward.

Julie, love all the pictures from Oakland School! Remember them all so well! I have everyone of them. I don’t remember one from 4th grade but I remember hating being bused to Jefferson School. My sister was bused to Emerson school. I was so so glad to get back to Oakland School.
