When you open the response window, look in the upper left hand corner. You will see "Source". Just to the right of that button you will see what looks like a picture. If you scan over it with your cursor arrow, it will say "Image". Click on it and then hit browse. That will let you browse where you have your pictures saved on your hard drive. Click on the picture you want then you click on upload.. You can still type your message as always and it will come up with the picture. You can even go back after you have posted it and hit edit. Than you can add names or whatever. Be sure you always hit "Submit" at the bottom of the page.
Loved seeing your photo from Emerson. I wonder if anyone has photos from our group in Second through Fifth grades at Washington Elementary? I would love to see them and make a copy!
Hello to everyone........and the happiest healthiest of holidays to y'all!
I thought that lthis might be interesting. If you are someone who reads the forum but does not send in any responses, let's see how many can check in with holiday wishes.
Yes thie means YOU who enjoy reading the forum, let everyone know you are out there.
I will start. Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Happy Kwanza !!!!!!! oh and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and all of the others holiday greetings. Hope all have a wonderful holiday!! Please say a little prayer in remembrance of Sue who would have had her 66th birthday on Christmas Eve. I miss her so much!! Also prayers for all our members that have gone on before us and for all who have lost important people in their life this year! May peace be with you!!
Jack, you and Steve were good wrestlers. BHS had some good wrestling teams in those days. I'm trying to remember some of the other guys, and the weight classes that they wrestled in.
Annie, I love your invitation for all to get in here with their greetings. Sadly, I have lately become one of the "lurkers" (as Mike called them).
Over the past several years, I feel privileged to have re-met so many of our old classmates. The reward of participating here is the remakable gift of friends who care about each other. Many thanks to all of you who are sharing so much. It is wonderful that you have kept your sense of humor, a trait which will forever mark the treasured legacy Sue has left for us. Part of the joy during these Holidays is celebrating these many frienships and reflecting on the fond memory of those we have lost.
The August mini-reunion was one of the greatest events of this past year for me. It served as a reminder of how important we all are to each other.
And, if anyone wants to have a good Holiday laugh, may I suggest that you listen to Krista Detor's song "Somewhere in Montana There's a Santa with a Gun".
Actually, BHS got a lot better in wrestling in later years, kind of becoming the old Pekin, or new Pekin..........or Piken as Victor likes to call it.
BHS has a great web page, and their sports history links are quite thorough, especially wrestling..then football and track. I'll find it and sent the link to you. I had posted it for Rod some months ago.
Roger "The Flea" Nelson wrestled at 95 lbs. .....he grew up to be well over twice that.
I saw the other day where BHS was ranked 8th in the State. We were never in that league as a team in our day....but we more than held our own under the circumstances of an inadequate training facility etc.
You can just follow the prompts. For sports, go to Activities, then Athletics, then pick your sport. The "history" section is usually the most interesting for our age group, since that is pretty much what we have to deal with when it comes to sports. :)
