Robert Eugene Singletary, 66 of Orlando, Florida, previously of Bloomington died at 9:00 p.m. on August 8, 2012 at Sun Belt Health Center in Akopka, Florida. He had previously resided for many years in Virginia and Maryland. Arrangements are being handled in Orlando per Robert’s request. He passed away due to cancer.

He was born December 4, 1945 in Bloomington, IL., a son of Harvey A.W. Singletary and Nell (Hubbs) Singletary. Survivor is a sister, Sandra Eich-Koester of Normal, IL.

His Father, Mother, a brother, Ronnie H. Singletary and a sister, Connie Jo Golden preceded him in death.

He was an artist, creating his own path in a celebration of art.
