Lonnie Knick

NORMAL - Lonnie D. Knick, 61, of 1404 W. Hovey Ave., Normal, died at 10:10 a.m. Monday (Nov. 12, 2007) at his home.

His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington, with the Rev. Vernon L. Oakley officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the MS Society.

He was born Oct. 18, 1946, in Bloomington, the son of Arthur F. and Fern Wolf Knick. He married Barbara Huber on May 21, 1966, in Bloomington. She survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Lonnie graduated from Bloomington High School in 1964. He served with the U.S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam War where he was a helicopter mechanic. He was employed for many years as an auto parts salesman for a local Chevy dealership. Lonnie was a member of the Moose Lodge 745 in Bloomington.
