36 years with Country Insurance (Manager Computer Operations), last 11 years, drove athletic trips for Unit 5 late in the afternnon and weekends. Took vacation days to drive field trips to Chicago, St. Louis, etc. Due to medical reasons, retired from Unit 5 in Nov. 2009 after 18 years.

Lost my Prostate to cancer in 2001. In the past 3 1/2 years, have had 2 major spinal surgeries, an SCS tiral which was not successful, all kinds of drugs, deep tissue massage therapy for an hour 3 days a week and currently on Viciden and a strong dose of Morphine. I will need to take it for the rest of my life! Oh lucky me!

Even with all the pain, I look around and see just how blessed my life has been and still is. There are a lot of people a lot worse off than me. At least I can get around and enjoy doing things, but I sure miss my Bus students. I always looked forward to seeing them each say. My time with them was much more valuable than what money could have bought.
